Photos taken on June 13, 2015. Many rodent burrows around the palms. We put a hose in a rodent hole and water came out of several other holes.
Three different species of rodents have been observed: Valley Pocket Gopher, Round-tailed Squirrel and a dark colored rat scampering from palm to palm.
We counted 19 dead palm offshoots.
Many fresh gopher mounds of dirt
There are several large sink holes
A disk harrow run in straight lines through the palm rows would establish square palm wells disk in any vegetation.
