Rose Schafhauser
President and Owner
Rose is the President and Owner of Association Management LLC, located in Stillwater, Minnesota.  Rose serves as the Executive Director of the Midwest Association for Medical Equipment Services - MAMES.  Rose also serves as the Executive Director of the Southwest Medical Equipment Suppliers Association - SWMESA (Formerly Arizona MESA).  Her company provides the administrative support and services for the Region A Council, the Region B Council, the Region C Council, and the National Supplier Clearinghouse Advisory Committee - NSCAC.  Rose also served on the Board of Directors of the American Association for Homecare and is the Past Chair of the AAHomecare State Leaders Council.

Rose brings over 30 years of experience in the HME/DME arena.  Rose began her career with Travelers Insurance in Medicare Claims Processor and Beneficiary Customer Service.  She moved into the HME/DME industry in the reimbursement arena as a biller and then as a Billing Supervisor at a growing HME/DME company in Minnesota.  Rose continued to grow her career in HME/DME and eventually took the General Manager reigns of a $17 million dollar, four location, durable medical equipment company.

In 1999, Rose formed Association Management LLC and began her career in association management.  As the Executive Director of MAMES and SWMESA (formerly AZMESA), Rose continues to strive to grow and protect the associations she represents and protect the companies and beneficiaries of the HME/DME industry. 

Rose attended Winona State University, Winona, Minnesota.  Rose is married and works with her husband Jim.  The two have two grown daughters and three granddaughters.

Vice President and Co-Owner

Jim is the Vice President and Co-Owner of Association Management LLC, located in Stillwater, Minnesota.  Jim serves in an administrative role for the Midwest Association for Medical Equipment Services - MAMES, the Southwest Medical Equipment Suppliers Association - SWMESA (formerly Arizona MESA), the Region A Council, the Region B Council, the Region C Council, and the National Supplier Clearinghouse Advisory Committee - NSCAC. 

Jim brings over 30 years of business management experience in customer service arena.  Jim began his career with Pillsbury working in the restaurant operations system for Burger King.  He has operated restaurants, supervised multiple locations, built and opened new stores and overseen the full back office administrative operations of a large franchise group.  Jim moved from restaurant operations to multi-unit automotive operations with Pennzoil before moving to the franchise world with Jiffy Lube.  Jim has extensive multi-unit operational management experience with as many as 45 units in multiple states.

In 2005, Jim joined Association Management LLC on a full-time basis as the business continued to grow and become a leader in the home medical equipment association management world.  As the Vice President of Association Management LLC, Jim continues to strive to grow and protect the associations Association Management LLC represents. 

Jim is a 1981 graduate of the College of St. Thomas (now St. Thomas University), in Saint Paul, Minnesota.  Jim is married and works with his wife, Rose.  The two have two grown daughters and three granddaughters. 




Sara Schafhauser-Wright

Virtual Assistant Contractor

Sara is President and Owner of Wright Associations LLC. Sara is contracting with Association Management LLC to provide virtual assistance to grow and promote the existing associations that Association Management LLC supports. Sara also plays and administrative role for Association Management LLC.

Sara has over 12 years of work experience. She has worked in administrative and lead positions with College Nannies and Tutors, as a hostess and server at two restaurants, as a work-study supervisor for Hill-Murray School, among other positions throughout college. Most notably, Sara was also a Family and Consumer Science Teacher (formerly Home Economics) at both the middle and high school levels in the Eden Prairie School District for five years before pursuing her Arbonne business as her main career in 2015. While with Eden Prairie Schools, Sara played many roles, including Track Coach, Professional Learning Community Leader for her department, Prom Committee Advisor, as well as substitute teaching. In addition to contracting with Association Management LLC through her business of Wright Associations LLC, she now works from home on a part time basis with Arbonne, while being home with her two youngest children.

Sara graduated from The College of Saint Catherine (now St. Catherine University) in 2009 after student teaching at Centennial High School and Roseville Middle School, as well as studying abroad in Mexico, Samoa, Fiji, and Hawai’i her senior year. Sara also graduated with her Master's from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota in June 2016.


Sara is married to Ryan and the pair have three daughters. She currently works out of her home in Bovey, Minnesota.
