Welcome to Biology... 2022-2023 School year.
Welcome to Bio Class!
I look forward to meeting all of you in August. Biology with me will consist of notes, practice sheets, labs, coloring activities, videos and games, open response assessments, old-school assessments and projects. Some of these will be in person and others will be on-line, it will depend on the topic. We will continue to use Google Classroom set-up for the majority of assignments but you will also have paper copies of notes, activities and diagrams as well. Please email or talk to me in person if you have questions or concerns.
You may need access to colored pencils and scissors at home. I will let you know ahead of time when these are necessary, if you don't have these items at home I can loan you some. You can also come and borrow some during your study period (if you have one) or during X Block.
For class time you will need a pen, a pencil, notebook paper and a two pocket folder.
Use this website for resources to help you study for each unit. There are videos and games here that I may not use in class that could be helpful. Many of my past students return to this site to help study for other classes. If you find a dead end or a source not working, please let me know and I will fix it. Also, if you find a great resource, let me know and I can share it here with others.
