The snow days of the past are gone, and school closure days mean that we have a remote learning

On remote learning days, students will complete the work that was sent home and return it to school when school reopens. We will also have a Zoom meeting from 1:15 to 1:45 to check in, read a story, and review students' questions. The Zoom link can be found in your child's Clever account on my teacher page. If you cannot join the Zoom meeting, no worries. For attendance purposes, just check in by email or Remind and have your child complete the packet.

The Anchorage School District created school closure packets for each grade level. I will send those packets home soon in a large manila envelope. Keep it in a safe place for future remote learning days. There will be four days of learning in the envelope. On Tuesday, I sent home a Scholastic News, an addition review, and a subtraction worksheet. Students should complete that work today. If a student misplaced the Scholastic News, they can read it online by following these directions. In addition, students are welcome to go on iReady to work on Fluency Flight, their My Path Lessons, and learning games. They can also go to Amplify and reread stories or go to Boost.
