About Your Teacher

I was born and raised in beautiful Alaska. My husband and I are proud parents to two amazing boys! Our oldest, Isaac, is studying Supply Chain Management at Arizona State and will graduate this May. Our youngest, Bennett, is starting his second year at the University of Michigan—go Blue! We also share our home with three lovable Portuguese Water Dogs: Roxy, Millie, and Hazel. When I have free time, you can find me at Pure Barre or out for a run—especially in the woods, which is my happy place!

I’ve been teaching for 24 years—11 of those at Aquarian—and I’m just as passionate about it now as when I first started. Aquarian is more than a school; it’s a family, and I feel incredibly lucky to be part of this supportive and vibrant community. I’m excited to teach 2nd grade again this year—it’s going to be a fantastic year full of learning, growth, and fun!
