About Your Teacher

I was born and raised in beautiful Alaska. My husband and I are proud parents of two amazing boys! Our oldest, Isaac, recently graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Supply Chain Management. Our youngest, Bennett, is starting his third year at the University of Michigan—go Blue! We also share our home with three lovable Portuguese Water Dogs: Roxy, Millie, and Hazel.

When I have free time, you can usually find me at Pure Barre or out for a run—especially in the woods, which is my happy place!

I’ve been teaching for 25 years—12 of those at Aquarian—and I’m just as passionate about it now as when I first started. Aquarian is more than a school; it’s a family, and I feel incredibly lucky to be part of this supportive and vibrant community. I’m excited to teach 2nd grade again this year—it’s going to be a fantastic year full of learning, growth, and fun!
