RELIGION FOCUS: This week we will be praying the Sorrowful Mysteries of the rosary:

The Agony in the Garden

The Scourging at the Pillar

The Crowning with Thorns

The Carrying of the Cross

The Crucifixion

FRACTIONS LUNCH:  We will be learning about fractions this week.  Our lunch on Wednesday will be a “fractions lunch” consisting of pizza, carrots, celery, oranges, graham crackers, and milk.  All students will be charged for hot lunch that day.  If your child cannot eat one of these items, please let me know.

TALENT SHOW

Our all-school talent show will be Wednesday, May 20th, starting at 1:00 PM.  If you have a talent you would like to share, please sign the slip below and bring it back by Friday, May 15th.  Your talent can be anything:  singing, dancing, playing an instrument, reading a poem, doing a trick, telling a joke, gymnastics…you name it! You may perform individually or with a group.  In the interest of time, each student is limited to one performance lasting no more than two minutes.  If you need music played for your talent, email the link to your teacher by Monday, May 18th. Parents are welcome, but be aware that it will probably be a couple of hours long and that it is impossible for us to know exactly what time your child will be performing.
