Arp JH & HS Lending Grant

posted May 9, 2018, 12:53 PM by Joy Rousseau   [ updated May 17, 2018, 7:34 AM ]

The purpose of the
2018–2019 Technology Lending grant is to provide schools the funds to purchase technology devices that are loaned to students for access to digital instructional materials off campus. The grant provides personal student learning devices and Internet access for students who would not otherwise have access to digital instructional materials off campus. Thus, it seeks to ensure equitable access to quality digital resources and courses.

Please stay tuned for announcements about how students may check out devices for use 24/7. This may also include a wireless hotspot for wireless access in homes without access.

Read about the latest study that documents the effect of smartphones on students of "Generation Z" (born between 1990-early 2000's). Something to reflect on and possibly act on.
