Chapter 5 has some interesting material, along with my favorite real world application of the whole year during the lesson on Centroids.
After chapters 2 - 4, which focused heavily upon proofs and reasoning, Chapter 5 will seem like a breath of fresh air to students who prefer calculations over concepts. I should note that lessons 5.2 and 5.3 are omitted because Points of Concurrency are not a relevant SOL topic, nor have any application in future study of Geometry. Points of Concurrency do serve as a reinforcement for some previous concepts, but not as effectively as other methods such as practical applications or SOL review questions.
