PD: Digital Escape Rooms

Digital Escape Rooms are one of the most innovative ways to get students to learn in a self-motivated manner. You can provide readings, encourage research, encourage GRIT, and even teach students to recover from failure as they explore and seek out answers in a fun game.

Hurry! Quick! Your living room is under attack, and the only way to get out in time for lunch is to escape this virtual PD!!

Mrs. Harmon has been stuck in a never ending loop of quasi-revolutionary riots, hand sanitizer, and masks. Self-motivating with workouts and active wear, she's been researching ways to make virtual learning fun, and manageable. She has also been watching way too much dystopian TV and reading classical books about uprisings and government. She wishes she'd payed more attention to history, as she finds herself highlighting strange phrases and leaving ambiguous commentary in the margins of her books.

This morning, she struggles for words to make sense of it all as she sits in her non-office space surrounded by toy trucks and Mickey Mouse. She's trying to remember why she walked into this room in the first place, but is amiss.

Can you help her remember why she started this story in the first place?!

Click around Mrs. Harmon's office to find clues, and solve the puzzles to unlock the door to let her out!

YOUR MISSION:

  • Find all FOUR clues Mrs. Harmon has hidden. There are multiple ways to find each clue.

  • Solve the puzzles.

  • Enter the codes for each lock.

  • Click "Next" once all locks are entered correctly.

  • Save the day!

What are you waiting for? Start searching that room!
