Graduate Students
Sean Doherty
Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant
Sean is an Exercise Science M.S. student in the Research concentration. Current research interests are in the biomechanical and physiological effects of fatigue during running events, and how they influence performance and injury prevention. Sean's thesis will investigate whether the OpenCap markerless motion capture framework is able to detect lower extremity kinematic changes during a fatiguing run?
B.S. Applied Physiology and Kinesiology, University of Florida, 2020
Ashley Turak
Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant
Ashley is an Exercise Science M.S. student interested in applying motion capture data directly to sporting environments associated with athletes. After graduation, she plans to work with teams and athletes to analyze biometrics from various capturing platforms to improve player performance.
B.S. Exercise Science, Indiana University, 2024
