40 credits in English, Science, Social Studies, Mathematics, and a Portfolio of various electives are required to complete a high school diploma with us. Credits are semester-based (1 credit = 1 semester)
After you register, we will evaluate your high school transcript and then transfer any credits you may have previously earned.
It varies with each student and how many high school credits you have already completed. But most of our students are able to graduate in 3 years or less after beginning the diploma classes.
We believe in quality over quantity. Too many classes at one time can affect your learning and you may not make the progress you want as fast as you want.
It also depends on how much you can manage. Many students have jobs and/or family obligations outside of school. Your teachers will talk with you about what might be best for your situation.
Academic 2 or 3 students: Check your Credit Tracker spreadsheet in your Google Drive. Look for the subject and then look for the date your class was completed. If you can't see it, contact the teacher for that course.
ABE/Diploma students: Contact your teacher or the office 651-604-3553.
RAHS/FAHS Credit Recovery students: Check with your counselor that they received it. If not, your counselor should call Mr. Hagen at 651-604-3554.
