plants, animals, and pathogens impacted the natural environments, political institutions, societies, and commerce of European, Asian, African, and the American societies.

Analyze the emerging trans-Atlantic slave system and compare it to other systems of labor existing during this era by

describing the role of geography in the development of Japan,
the policies of the Tokugawa Shogunate, and
the influence of China on Japanese society
5.3.3 South Asia/India through the 18th Century
Analyze the global economic significance of India and the role of foreign influence in the political, religious, cultural, and economic transformations in India and South Asia including the Mughal Empire and the beginnings of European contact.
