Homework

Reading:

NIGHTLY reading homework will begin in early fall. One book from the classroom will come home every night for reading practice at home. Your child should read this book aloud to someone in your home. The goal is for fluency or "reading like we talk."

Sight Words/Word Work:

As we learn new sight words and sound patterns, your child may bring home a bag or envelope to practice. Please work on these through the week. More information will come if they are specifically assessed on the words and/or patterns (short vowels, long vowels, etc.).
