Classroom Information
Routines:
Students will bring their TAKE HOME FOLDER on Fridays and bring it back to school after it has been cleaned out at the beginning of the next week.
You can send a water bottle and healthy, PEANUT FREE snack each day. We will have snack in the morning.
I will send a class update on Fridays. This will communicate what topics we covered during the week and highlight any special events coming up.
Homework expectations:
Reading - The goal is about 20 minutes of reading at home each day. As communicated, please try to fill out the reading log. Monthly lunch bunch will celebrate our reading fun.
Words Their Way (spelling & vocab)- I will not send lists home unless requested. Students will be assessed on the spelling and meanings of each word on Fridays.
Math: There will be NO formal math homework this year. However, if a workbook page was not finished in class, that may come home for work completion.
Technology:
Students will be given a Chromebook for use at school
Headphones are required (see classroom supply list)
