Name Change Requests - Please make a ticket for change requests by emailing helpdesk@edinaschools.org
Steps for Staff that request correction to their LEGAL name (firstname, lastname, email address name).
Verify current LEGAL name in HR system/Campus
Compare to current firstname and lastname in Active Directory
If different, and Campus is accurate, make change to AD name fields.
If different, and Campus is wrong, the staff needs to request the change from HR.
Once HR is updated then we change AD name and change email address in Exchange.
Respond to staff member with change completed.
Steps for Staff that request change to their AKA name (firstname, lastname, email address name).
Verify current LEGAL name in Campus and HR system
Staff member needs supervisor approval for change in AKA name
HR will make change to AKA name fields and uncheck box after supervisor approval
Once change to AKA field in HR and Campus, we can update AD fields
Change email address in Exchange.
Respond to staff member with change completed.
