Also, you can do these simple things to help you make the most of studying:

* Focus on learning the material for yourself, not your teacher or your parents!

* Identify your most productive time of day & schedule study sessions for this time

* Make a goal for your study session

* Study the hardest material first

* Take small breaks regularly

* Vary the study activities you choose

* Drink plenty of water

* Review your notes after class

* Before studying, review your notes

* Figure out what you don't understand and who you need to ask for help

* Plan your work well ahead of time
