"I am a Black American teacher of ELL students in Avon. I also have roots in the Cherokee Tribe. I have interest in EMAC as someone who is ready to speak on behalf of marginalized people and or communities. As an experienced teacher and leader, over the years I have attended EMAC conferences. This year I became a delegate by winning a seat on the committee in the 2023 MTA general election! I am happy to serve by raising my voice in solidarity with the MTA and EMAC around the issues that are important and should concern us all!"
