Content Descriptors
Alcohol - reference to and/or images of alcoholic beverages
Blood - depictions of blood
Blood and Gore - depictions of blood or the mutilation of body parts
Crude Humor depictions or dialogue involving vulgar antics, such as "bathroom" humor, offensive depictions or dialogue, or specism*.
Mild Drama - dialogue or depictions in dramatic situations
Intense Drama - dialogue or depictions in dramatic, sometimes frightening situations that may disturb readers and/or escalate into violence
Drug Reference - reference to and/or images of illegal drugs
Use of Drugs - the consumption or use of illegal drugs
Gambling - reference to and/or depictions of gambling
Language - mild to moderate use of profanity, such as cr@p (note: all swear words are censored)
Mild Violence - mild amount of violent content, that doesn't include bloodshed
Violence - violent content which may be disturbing to some readers and may or may not include bloodshed
Graphic Violence - content contains heavy amounts of graphic violence, that includes bloodshed and sometimes mutilation
*specism (SPEESH-izm) is racism within the ''Arthur'' universe. The different animals are different races, so although specism is not offensive to us, it is extremely offensive to Arthur.

The rating icon is displayed in the top right corner of every issue's page. Here is a handy guide for the ratings and who should read them:
- General audiences. Content is acceptable at any maturity level. May contain mild drama.
- Parental Guidance suggested. Content may not be suitable for children. May contain intense drama, crude humor, language, and blood.
- Parents strongly cautioned. Content is inappropriate for children under 13. May include violence, alcohol, drugs, gambling, guns, etc.
- Restricted. Content may be disturbing to all audiences. May include graphic violence, blood and gore, murder, and cannibalism.
