Mission Statement
The St. Christopher Pronaos serves as the living expression of the Rosicrucian Order’s mission at the local level and represents the Rosicrucian’s ideals in the community. We perpetuate the ancient ritualistic and initiatory traditions of the Order. In all circumstances we promote principles rather than personalities. We provide a safe, harmonious environment in which a deeper understanding of these ideals and principles can be explored through fraternal discussions, rituals and initiation. In the spirit of harmony and service, we facilitate communication and connection from member to member and with the staff at headquarters, for the greater good of the Order and for service to humanity and the planet. Through this connection with their greater Spiritual family, we empower each individual to “know thyself’.
Council of Solace Ritual
Council of Solace Ritual is performed on the second Sunday of each month at 4 p.m. in the Temple. Members of the public are invited to this ritual. Attendees are advised to be at the Temple at 3:30 pm to facilitate the closing of the door at 3:50 p.m.
Open Meetings
Open Meetings are held on the second Sunday of each month immediately following the Council of Solace Ritual. Members are encouraged to assist the presenters in fielding questions from the seekers and sharing experiences as members of the Order. Members who wish to be presenters at such meetings are asked to indicate their willingness. The venue for these meetings will be at 5c Mona Road, Kingston 6.
Members are encouraged to invite family and friends to the Council of Solace and the Open Meetings.
These are important events on our calendar which serve to enhance the growth and the teachings of our Order.
Pronaos Convocation
Convocations are held on the first Sundays of each month, commencing at 3:00 p.m.
All Active Members of AMORC may attend Pronaos Convocations.
Participation of all members is encouraged.
