MISSION STATEMENT
The Barbados Chapter, AMORC, serves as the living expression of the Rosicrucian Order’s mission at a local level, and represents Rosicrucian ideals in the community. We perpetuate the ancient ritualistic and initiatic tradition of the Order. In all circumstances, we promote principles rather than personalities. We provide a safe, harmonious environment in which a deeper understanding of these ideals and principles can be explored through fraternal discussion, ritual and initiation. In the spirit of harmony and service, we facilitate communication and connection from member to member and with the staff at headquarters for the greater good of the Order, and for service to humanity and the planet. Through this connection with the greater spiritual family, we empower each individual to
“KNOW THYSELF”
Greetings,
I am humbled to be chosen as your Master Servant for RC year 3379. I wish to continue along the vein of all the Masters who came before me; that is, to determine what members require and work to facilitate this. That is my role. To be the facilitator, through following the guidance of the Invisible Ones. I intend to allow my faculties to be utilized in order to guide the Chapter’s members during RC 3379 and beyond.
The theme that has been chosen for this year is "Using The Mystical Tools We Have Been Given". As Rosicrucians, we are given many tools to assist us on this journey of life; however, we sometimes allow life’s challenges and what we perceive as setbacks to derail us. We forget that we, ourselves, designed those challenges for the evolution of our Souls. Once we follow the guidance that is constantly provided, we will face all perceived challenges with strength and faith, and thus overcome them, learning in the process what we intended to learn. In this way, we travel our chosen Path and our Soul evolves.
Let us, both Chapter members and home sanctum members, continue to work together on this Journey of Life, to achieve what we came to do on this Earth plane.
With best wishes for Peace Profound,
Kathy-Ann Parris-Walcott
Your Master Servant

Barbados Chapter hosts a forum on the second Sunday of each month at 5:00 p.m. at the serene and picturesque Gun Hill Signal Station, St. George.
This session is open to the public and takes place in a relaxed atmosphere. All Seekers are welcome to attend these introductions to the time-tested philosophy of the Rosicrucian Order, AMORC.
Chapter members are encouraged to bring along family and friends who are not yet students of the Order to these informal discussions of philosophical and mystical topics in a relaxed atmosphere.
Sunset Meditations are held at various times during the year. The purpose of these is to impress upon our consciousness the role our Sun plays in every aspect of our lives, including its impact on our mental-spiritual development and our mystical life. They are usually held at the Gun Hill Signal Station in St. George, with its tremendously panoramic view of the Barbadian landscape.
Our Rosicrucian Peace Ceremony takes place on the fourth Sunday in June. This ceremony is held in an informal setting and brings together AMORC members and any members of the public desirous of attending. The purpose of the Ceremony is to promote peaceful and harmonious relations among all inhabitants of the world.
Our Rosicrucian Memorial Ceremony is held on the Autumnal Equinox in September to honour the memory of all those mystic philosophers and bearers of Light who have worked throughout the centuries to perpetuate Knowledge of the laws and principles that govern the Universe and man, so that such Knowledge is always available for transmission to those in search of their place in all of existence and who seek to know themselves.
Mystical Weekends are two-day retreats normally scheduled for the last Saturday and Sunday of October or November, at a location that provides an atmosphere of calm, peace, and serenity. They are informal sessions held in a very relaxed atmosphere in which AMORC members and Seekers mingle and engage in discussions of the fundamentals of the Rosicrucian Order’s teachings and philosophy.
Seekers desirous of attending any of our public events can contact us at barbados@amorc.rosicrucian.org.
You can also stay up-to-date with our events by viewing our Calendar of Events.
We look forward to welcoming you!
Our Convocations are held at the Gnostic Building on River Road, St. Michael on the first and third Sunday of each month beginning promptly at 5:00 p.m.
Convocations are members-only events and are open to all AMORC members who are current with their AMORC membership dues. Please bring your AMORC ID and Membership Statement to ensure admittance into the Temple.
Members are asked to arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the start of the Convocation.
Forums are classes which provide members, who have attained the various Degree levels, the opportunity to discuss the material presented in our AMORC monographs. They allow members to exchange their personal interpretations with each other and thus make for a remarkable cross-fertilization of the views of the participating members.
While Degree Forums treat to the material presented in a specific Degree in a formal Temple environment, symposiums are informal and are hosted virtually on Zoom, treating to a wide variety of items relating to aspects of Rosicrucian ontology. These will be back on our calendars soon.
Our Chapter has a Metaphysical Aid group whose purpose is to render spiritual, absent treatments to members in various forms of distress who request such assistance.
