Gifted and Talented Services:
Albert Lea Area Schools has aligned instruction to a model of four critical questions:
  1. What is it we expect our students to learn?
  2. How will we know when they have learned it?
  3. How will we respond when some students do not learn?
  4. How will we respond when some students already know it?
The Gifted and Talented program is focused on the fourth question.  Our goal is to support teachers in meeting the needs of students who have already achieved the established learning goals.  Please see the "Mission and Goals" tab at the top of the page for more information on our program.

Google Classroom

Students now have access to...
  • Math extensions to the classroom curriculum
  • Reading activities that expand on our discussions
  • Videos that make us think
  • Puzzles/riddles/thinking problems in both math and reading
  • Creative writing
I love that I can give feedback on days when I'm not at the school with the students. If you are a parent to one of these students, feel free to email me to have access to our Google Classroom!

Students can access Google Classroom in class if they have access to a computer and have finished their work assigned by their classroom teacher. They can also access it outside of class by typing in "Google Classroom" or by downloading the Google Classroom app.
