State Goals
2024 - 2026
New Jersey Alpha Delta Kappa will celebrate and promote altruism, educational excellence, DEI, world
understanding, and sisterhood through the following goals:
1. Membership- Actively recruit new members, promote retention of current members, and encourage reinstatement
Structure meetings that are flexible, engaging and meaningful
Continue the establishing of Collegiate Clubs
Encourage joint meetings-socials between chapters
Measurement: Record change in membership
Track Collegiate Club activity
2. World Understanding- Increase awareness and understanding of other cultures.
Encourage chapters and sisters to share world understanding projects, activities and stories
Provide continued support to the International ITE program
Measurement: Record World Understanding activity and diversity
Record support for ITE students
3. Altruism- Continue to support altruistic endeavors at the International, Region, State and chapter levels.
Measurement: Record data for altruistic endeavors
4. Fraternity Education- Expand knowledge of Alpha Delta Kappa through various venues.
By the end of the 2022-2024 biennium the NJ State website will have written histories included on site.
Encourage members to attend chapter, State, Regional and International meetings/functions
Measurement: Establish quarterly review of website
Record attendance of meeting at all levels
5. Communication- Encourage open lines of communication at the International, Regional, State and chapter levels.
Promote communication through State and chapter newsletters, International and State website access, emails, personal notes and texts.
Use videoconferencing when appropriate for meetings
Acknowledge members through the state Courtesy and Honors Recognition Committees
By end of 2022-2024 biennium set up a NJ A∆K Facebook page that is supported and monitored
