Celebrating Our Past / Embracing Our Future

1.     To encourage members to strive for leadership positions by using past state presidents to share their leadership journeys and to mentor future leaders. 

2.    To encourage chapters to increase their membership through recruitment of new members and the reinstatement of members.

3.    To promote excellence in education by providing opportunities for the sharing of knowledge, ideas, skills, and issues of concern at state and chapter meetings.

4.    To keep communication open and flowing between the State Executive Board and chapters through Sister Chapters, the Connecticut website, and the Violet’s Voice.

5.    To promote world understanding to increase awareness, involvement, and understanding of societies around the world.

6.    To encourage members to participate in State meetings, Regional conferences, and International conventions.

7.    To celebrate and promote Alpha Delta Kappa’s ideals of altruism, educational excellence, world understanding, and sisterhood.
