Openness Committee

The Openness Committee was formed at the November 2005 Chairs meeting to suggest ways that the past chairs group cam make its activities more open to Shoalers.

Members: Bonnie Sylvester, Cathy Cordes, Margy Levine Young, and others

Mission: To create more transaprency around the governance of Allstar II

• To devise an Open Policy Statement To determine the best means of informing conferees of this Policy

• Place an Openness Statement on the All Star II Website. Perhaps a few paragraphs should accompany the statement to provide meaning and rationale. Make an Island Presentation during Expert's Night or a Talk of the Rocks. Expert's Night permits All Star II Staff to attend. Advertise this talk in the Dockside Post as well as the Starboard and in the Announcements.
