Classroom PBIS strategies are important tools to decrease disruptions, increase instructional time, and improve student social behavior and academic outcomes
Problem solving cue cards [examples pictured below] are introduced and taught, via demonstrations and simple discussions, at the beginning of the year. Re-teaching occurs throughout the school year to support consistency and retention of the techniques. The cards are accessible at all times, and staff guide students in determining which problem solving technique/s could help them in any challenging situation.
