About the Librarian

"When I get a little money I buy books; and if any is left I buy food and clothes." Erasmus

Hi,

I am often called the "librarian" or "library media specialist" or "teacher librarian" or just "Ms. Liberrian." I am a teacher with a B.A. in Spanish, a Master of Arts in Teaching, a Master in Library and Information Science (MLIS) and a California Teacher Librarian credential.

I love kids and I love reading. I also love finding out about stuff, learning about the use of technology in our lives, and teaching students how to do both of those things.

I am also a mom to three girls (in 3rd, 5th, and 8th grade) who attend AEA. (I love our school). I too, lose library resources under the couch and confess that our cat is in love with the taste of hardback books. (Another reason to have an e-reader on hand).

Please don't hesitate to contact me or stop by the library with any questions you may have about the library or use of technology on campus.
