Your at a glance progress in on the left side. You should see an objective for your long term goal and a 20 topic assignment for your weekly goal.
The objectives are long term goals with the aim of teaching a larger area of knowledge like solving equations or geometric properties. The first objective in any class is "Course Readiness" and you will need to complete that in order to be able to take the final.
The topic assignment is how progress is calculated in Infinite Campus each week, if you learn 12 to 20 topics in a week, your progress with be passing. There is a 100 topic assignment for the entire hexter that your topics also count towards. If you need more than 100 topics to complete course readiness, this 100 topic assignment will also satisfy as a requirement to take the final.
If you are looking for more detailed information about your progress you will want to look in your reports. You can find these by clicking the menu button and then Reports
Your reports are a set of status boxes that give details about your work in ALEKS, the objective report is right in the middle and tells you you percent learned in your current incomplete objective. Due to the way that ALEKS determines your readiness to move on completion is set to 60%, but a greater percentage is strongly recommended.
In your second row of reports you can see your topics learned and topics you attempted but did not learn, if you have topics attempted but not learned, these will be the topics that ALEKS will give priority.
You can use gradebook to check your assignment grades on days that Infinite Campus Progress has not been updated.
Use the assignments menu option to see active assignments. This will be useful in the final weeks of class if you need to get to the practice final or final exam and they are not showing up on your home screen.
From the home screen if you click "continute my path" you will go to the next recommended topic. For a visual guide on how learning mode guides your through learning, see the images below.
If you click the arrow above the learning screen you can open the topic navigation menu, the topics that appear should all be topics you are ready to learn, but sometimes they can be locked.
If you have locked topics you can open this filter menu check the Unlocked topics box. These filters are inclusive though so checking more than one box adds both categories rather than displaying only topics that belong in both categories.
