The Student Government at Mountain Range High School promotes a democratic relationship with the student body, faculty, and community of the North Metro area of Colorado. Mountain Range Student Government exists to foster and inspire the development of student leaders who promise to act as a liaison between administration, teachers, and the student body, implement needed events and services for the school, and advocate for pressing community issues and concerns.

The Mountain Range High School Student Government, established in 2006, exists to represent and act in the interests of the students. Student Government has created an academic and extra-curricular environment benefiting students through its programs and works to sustain and improve them each year.
The student government is made up of a core student government that presides with the assistance of freshman, sophomore, junior and senior class leadership groups.
The MRHS Student Government is based around its Constitution, originally created in 2007.
