IB Learners are principled. IB Learners have to make choices about their learning and do independent research and writing. Essential to the production of any IB work is the understanding that IB students have been taught the principles of Academic Honesty and the skills needed to avoid it.
In order for teachers to authenticate the assignments sent to IB for evaluation, students should be able to show a guided process with different pre-writing and drafts, as well as effective citations and referencing.
