Reading:  Identify the author’s point and the reasons that support the point - assess this week

Writing: informative writing- Women’s history

Sight Words: know, show, any, many, boy, girl

Phonics: adding -ed and -ing to words, writing words with 5 sounds

Math: 3D shapes, compose 3D shapes, measurement, problem solving

Social Studies/Science: Explain how some forces can be used to make things move without touching them (like magnets)

*I will have a substitute Monday morning to attend a required meeting. 

*We will go outside each day unless it is raining or muddy.  Please be sure your child has a coat appropriate for the temperatures.  You might want to send a light jacket, sweater, or hoodie also because the classroom temperature varies a lot no matter the season.

*We will have a program on Friday, December 16th.  The time is tentatively set for 11:15-11:45. I will let you know a definite time as soon as possible. If you are already aware that your child will not be at school on that day, please let me know so that I can plan accordingly.  Thanks.
