13th Annual Ceremonial Review

It's that time of year again! 
We are honoured to host our 13th Annual Ceremonial Review to celebrate the successes and accomplishments of all our cadets. 
Details as follows:Date: 9 June 2024Loc.: Crosby Memorial Community Centre (210 Main St Unionville) Time: Ceremony starts promptly at 1300 hrs, please arrive and be seated NLT 1245 hrs 
  • There will be a reception to follow, refreshments and light snacks will be available! 
Dress: Business casual for guests | Military 1A with medals for Military members 
PLEASE NOTE: Parking is quite limited for this community centre. It is suggested to find alternative parking in parking lots within the area and to ensure you follow all city parking sign rules. 

Spring FTX - May 2024

Kit List is provided. Please ensure you pack according to the weather. 
Cadets must have their PHYSICAL valid health card on their person in order to board the bus. As well, cadets and parents/guardians must sign and upload the Informed Consent Form to the appropriate folder on our unit Teams Channel. 
  • The form was emailed to each cadets C365 email and can also be accessed via Microsoft Teams! 
  • To upload: 
    • Open Microsoft Teams 
    • Select the 'T-CEN 883 Air' Channel > General 
    • Select 'Files' > 'Operation Go Fish Informed Consent Form'
      • Please carefully read and DIGITALLY sign.
        • If you are unable to digitally sign, you can print it out, sign and scan back onto your computer/laptop. If you are unsure how to scan the document, you can take a photo and upload it
    • Once completed, save your file as RankLastName_FirstName.pdf 
    • Upload to your respective Flight folder.

Squadron Sports Competition Volunteer

We're hosting a multi-unit Sports Competition alongside 876 RCACs on 18 May 2024. As hosts, we will require additional assistance with the operations of the event.

  • Scorekeeping
  • Canteen

Spring Tagging - April 2024

Our biggest fundraiser event is happening again! 
Friday 19 April - Sunday 21 April 2024, we will be holding our Spring Tagging event. This event is highly encouraged for all cadets to do at least 3 shifts! 
Your efforts will help the squadron raise money to fund activities and squadron equipment. Please sign up for ALL shifts you are available - the more shifts you do, the higher chances you get for raffle prizes!
883 CLUB! The top THREE taggers from EACH DAY will be invited to join our elite tagger club where members will be treated to special discounts for events OR taken to activities (for ex: Raptors 905, hockey games) for FREE!!!
We will be requiring your parents to drive you to and from the store location. If your parents are interested in helping out and becoming a volunteer driver for other cadets, please have them speak to SSC.

We have sweaters and shirts available for all our cadets! If interested in purchasing a custom shirt, please complete the order form attached and bring a copy to the SSC on Wednesdays for payment.
Note that ALL cadets will receive a FREE dark blue t-shirt.
