Madame Ingrid Brandt
Bonjour! I attended the K-12 French Immersion program just like Mme Elise and I studied French and Italian in college. I've lived in Luxembourg, Italy and France. I spent the last four years teaching the English side of 5th and 2nd grade at Buena Vista Spanish Immersion School. I am thrilled to be coming "home" to Charlemagne teaching this year. I love cooking, baking, reading, and hanging out with friends and family.

My name is Madame Elise and I grew up in the Eugene area where I attended Charlemagne when it was called Fox Hollow French Immersion. This will be my eighteenth year as a kindergarten teacher here and I’m excited for another successful year. While not at school, I spend my time chasing my daughters Anna (10) and Xavia (7), my husband Caleb, and our dog Fischy. I also enjoy walking, swimming, and baking.

My name is Leslie Martinez and I was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela where I lived until my family and I moved to USA many years ago. Since then I've become a mom of two wonderful kids who are also French Immersion students (9th grader and 7th grader). I started my Charlemagne journey as a parent volunteer for my kids class and during that time I rediscovered my passion for education and became an Educational Assistant. I'm very happy to be working in Kindergarten and make this one a successful year.
During my free time I like to watch my kids play together and read books with them, have nice walks with my husband and our little dog Sid, cooking and reading a nice book with a cup of coffee.
