Install the Core Wallet Extension

• To get the Core Wallet extension on your Windows device, go to https://extension.core.app.  

• On the home screen, choose the Download Core Wallet Extension option at the top right to enter the Chrome Web Store.

• After installing the Core extension, Pin it to your extension bar for quick access. 

Setting Up a New Wallet

• First of all, you must open the Core Wallet extension on your computer. 

• Also, you can launch the Core mobile app on your iPhone or Android device. 

• Then, you will get the following options on the home screen: Create a Wallet (to create a new wallet) and Access Existing Wallet (to access an existing wallet). 

• If you are new, tap the Create a Wallet button to set up a new wallet. 

• Next, you must provide a username for your wallet and generate a unique password on the registration page. Then, read and agree to the terms of the wallet and hit the Save button. 

• After this, you will obtain your secret recovery phrase, which you must copy and keep at a secure location. 

• Congratulations: you can now access your Core Wallet through the password or seed phrase, execute crypto transactions, connect dApps, and purchase AVAX.

Core Wallet provides a huge range of features, and you can use it instantly by importing your existing crypto wallet instead of setting up a completely new wallet. The Core Wallet extension is EVM-compatible, meaning you can use the seed phrase for your existing wallet to access Core.

• If you are getting the Error Showing Data while utilizing Core Wallet and the Ledger hardware device, please ensure you have toggled OFF the Developer mode in the Ledger Live app.

• You should import an appropriate UTXO by choosing the right option in the Chain Import section to fix it. 

• Try to refresh the balance.  

Connection Blocked?

• Based on how users have set up VPN, they can end up utilizing the same IP, which can result in rate restriction. Simply put, the API can think it is getting spammed by numerous requests through a particular IP, hence blockchain connections.  

• Switching off the VPN can work if a problem is connecting to a particular network. 

Bridge Unavailable?
