Student Tech Training Templates

One comment I have frequently heard across the district is that students don’t know how to use the technology tools for schoolwork. They know how to listen to music, watch videos, and play games, but are not sure how to use the devices for school.

To help with that, I put together some social story like presentations that teach students how to use the different tech tools they will need to use to do schoolwork at 916. The presentations are designed to be a template for you to use with your students, from Pre-K through 21 years old. Because of the wide range of age and abilities, these templates are starting points with some helpful hints for modifying them and making them your own in comments.

Click on the link below to open up your own copy of the template, click on the button that says Make Copy in the center of the new window. You can rename the document, make any edits you would like, and if you need a new version, you can come back here and grab another copy.

If there are other topics you would like to see of these, please reach out to Emily Thomas (ethomas@916schools.org) and I would be happy to talk to you about getting those made!
