Welcome Back to School! (FINALLY)

Dear Students and Families,

Well, the 20-21 school year has continued to challenge us in every possible way, and together, we continue to push forward. We are all excited to be welcoming students back into the school for the first time in nearly a year! It finally feels like the school year is actually beginning.

Please know that we are taking EVERY precaution and action we can to keep students, families, and staff safe and healthy while still providing the best education we can.

Students as you come back to school please show yourself, your peers, and us (your teachers) grace and compassion. Coming back to school will be an adjustment for all of us for sure; we can make it a VERY positive experience for everyone when we work together.

If you haven’t already, please explore the “get know me” link and take time to read the “Learner Expectations” which I crafted around our school motto of Honor, Dedication, Education, and Graduation. Please let's keep working hard to make this the best experience we can, no matter what. 100% ALL IN, everyday matters, we got this!

If you have any suggestions or help in anyway please don't hesitate to email me at ascheele@509j.net

Kind Regards,

Mr. Scheele

Learner Expectations

Honor: I will respect and honor myself, my peers, other students, my family, my community, my elders, and all people I interact with. In doing so I will also respect and honor my environment and surroundings.

Dedication: I will do my best to learn and grow, and to help others to do the same. In doing so I will leave myself, others, and my environment better then when I found them.

Education: I will take full responsibility for my own learning and the teaching of others. I will work hard to accomplish this goal. In doing so I will overcome challenges, work collaboratively, and be proud of what I have accomplished.

Graduation: I will set goals for myself and help others to achieve theirs. In doing so I will put myself on a path to graduate middle and high school and be able to choose the very best path for my life and career.

Resources

Below I have included some quick links that might be helpful. There are so many great online learning tools now! More detailed instructions and links to everything we use will be available in our Google Classroom. Remember, there is a universe of useful information, videos, and explanations waiting on-line so never hesitate to carefully search, answer your own questions, and become your own teacher!

Hello From Mr. Scheele

Hi student, parents, and families! It is great to be here at Warm Springs teaching math. I am excited to meet you all and welcome everyone back in the classroom. Keep an open mind, work hard, ask questions, but MORE THAN ANYTHING be OK WITH MAKING MISTAKES. It's called practice for a reason!
