JCSD K-12 Comprehensive Distance Learning Family Support
Dear Families,
On November 6, Superintendent Parshall announced that our schools will be starting “in person” instruction on Monday, November 30, 2020. This is the Monday following the week of Thanksgiving. However, in order to prepare for “in person” or on site instruction, we will not have school on the next two Fridays (November 13 and 20) to allow school teams to plan. We will continue to focus on grade-level standards at the elementary level and course standards at the secondary level through our CDL (Comprehensive Distance Learning) model until we reopen on November 30. In the meantime we'll be planning for required safety procedures, transportation, meal service, school start times, and staffing for in-person instruction and online instruction.
We are committed to fostering strong partnerships between staff, students, and families. We offer this page as a resource tool to support the learning of our families and students. You will find resources on supplemental activities, health & wellness, digital safety, and learning with technology. We will continue to add additional resources throughout the year. Thank you for supporting your student(s) learning!
