¡BIENVENIDO!
We are going to have a great year! What I love most about teaching and learning Spanish is that the possibilities for creativity, exploration, and fun are endless—there is something for everyone. Those possibilities are also vital to unlocking the mind for learning a new language. For some of you, learning a new language will be natural and for others, it will take a little more time and practice. Remember, you can't make a basket if you don't shoot the ball. 😃🏀Language learning includes reading, writing, listening, and perhaps most important, SPEAKING!

Hola, I was born and raised in Oregon but I have had the privilege of traveling to several places in Mexico, the country of my ancestors. 😊The image to the right is The Grutas de Tolantongo. It is a beautiful hot springs that I visited in the summer of 2019.
I decided to be a teacher because I enjoyed working with students as an EA and I had such a positive experience with students that I wanted to make a greater impact on student learning within my own classroom.
For those of you who are in Spanish for the first time, I look forward to getting to know you and share the fun of learning and speaking a second language. For those of you who are returning students, welcome back!
