In this class, students will begin to develop skills that they will utilize throughout their high school careers and help prepare them for literacy in the 21st century. Students will work on narrative writing, and various projects and activities to help introduce them to the norms of the discipline of English Language Arts.
English 3
In this class, students will be asked to read fiction, nonfiction, and write short pieces to analyze various pieces of literature. Students will be introduced to literary criticism, as well as gain 21st century communication skills to help prepare them for a life after High School. Students who take this course will develop their personal writing process and develop skills that are essential to the study of Literature and Writing. Art has value and this course is a way to demonstrate to students that they have a voice, can contribute to The Arts, and nurture the next generation of writers.
About me
Hi, My name is Mr. Gayman I Iive in Maupin, OR. a short distance from Madras. I graduated from Western Oregon University with my undergrad in English and minor in social science. later, I went back to school and obtained a Master's in Teaching from University of Portland. In my free time, I am usually on a river kayaking, fishing, or hiking. And when I'm not doing that, I'm at home reading a good book with my cat, Aleister.
