Welcome & Class overview
We will be working together as we venture into virtual learning!! I am excited to be your second grade teacher. Second grade has always been my favorite grade to teach. This will surely be a new and different start to our year. Let's have fun learning in a new way. I am looking forward to sharing this adventure with you. As a classroom team we will join together to learn and help one another as much as we can in hopes we get to meet up face to face sooner than later! Let the new school year begin! I LOVE SECOND GRADE!

Speaking of together....... Mrs. Bare and Mrs. Comingore will be team teaching your reading and math blocks. Team teaching alows two teachers to work closely together to better meet student needs, answer questions, and explain different strategies as ways to learn. Co-teaching is also a way to provide you with extra support with two teachers at the "wheel." Feel free to reach out to one or both of us with your questions.
About me
I have always had a love for kids as far back as I can remember! Kids make life fun and playful. I have taught for 20 years (13 at Warm Springs Elementary and 7 at Metolius Elementary).
I have two Madras High School boys and they are also in the distance learning arena. I have been married for twenty years. Dan (my husband) grew up in Madras and attended Madras High. We moved to Madras after college and have lived here for the last 25 years.
It will be interesting to see how much we can accomplish in this new way of learning. I am here to support you and will do all I can to make a fun and happy learning experience!
