I moved to beautiful Jefferson County in 2012 to join my parents on our family farm. I have always loved working and playing in the outdoors. After receiving my undergraduate degree in Business Administration, I perused a career in tourism which led me to a life abroad in New Zealand. During that time, I partook in many adventurous activities and further embraced my love for the outdoors.
Now I am a mother of a 7 year old boy who I love to recreate with in our beautiful region and enjoy working outside on our family farm in the summer months. I have recently completed my Masters Degree in Teaching Elementary Education which has allowed me to embrace another passion of mine - teaching children. This new career path began in 2014 when I started coaching volleyball and track for the Culver school district. I quickly realized how much I love sharing my joy for learning with students and athletes. I love our community in Jefferson County and feel privileged to be able to teach with such an amazing team at Buff Elementary!
When I'm not in the classroom, I enjoy time with my family, playing games together, sharing our lavender farm with visitors in the summer, riding horses, skiing in the winter, boating, camping and mountain bilking in the summer. Have a look....
