The book list includes the books I read aloud to students during snack time. They’re familiar with the stories and characters, so if you show them the cover images, they’ll likely recognize them. I recommend asking your student which ones were their favorites. If your student mentions a different book that I read in class, please feel free to reach out to me!
All of which are imported directly from Japan. Due to import taxes, they are more expensive than domestically available books. Fortunately, there’s a great Japanese bookstore, Kinokuniya 紀伊國屋, in Beaverton, Oregon. You can place an order with them, and they’ll ship the books to your home. You may also visit the store, but they may not have every title in stock. If you’re looking for a specific book, I recommend contacting them directly before making the trip. Orders typically take about 2-3 weeks to arrive. You can also look for other books via Kinokuniya website: Kinokuniya Bookstore
