Vampire of love

Your teeth sink into my neck and draw blood from deep within me

You draw more than just blood

You draw my thoughts

You draw my time

Most importantly, you draw my love

You keep on drawing and drawing, until my body turns pale

Somehow, my heart is still able to pump for you

Still able to produce the blood you leach

Betrayal

It courses through my veins

A straight shot to my heart

As fast as a fighter jet

No sensation can compare

The calm blue in the ocean,

Turns into the red of a raging fire

Rampaging through my mind

Destroying the memories

Shocking my system

Causing reform in my core

The feeling of betrayal,

Closing the window to love

How things can change

From strangers into friends

The feeling of uncertainty

But that moment you know have something special

Something in your brain fires

From friends into lovers

Feelings flowing like a river

The once broken heart now mended and repaired

Being put atop a mountain of love

To strangers again

Everything gets swept away in a rip current

That firing in your brain slowly gets put out

Every story comes to an end
