Good afternoon,
Monday 2/2/26 3:00pm: Meet at Monroe small gym, I will be available to monitor students who are available to workout. Remember these workouts are not mandatory. Sprinters/Jumpers warm up 400m, drills, hurdle squat jumps, wall sprints, 4x30 yard sprints with blocks. Distance runners warm up, stretch, drills: run 1 min hard 1min easy 2 min hard 2 min easy 3 min hard 3 min easy 2 min hard 2 min easy 1 min hard 1 min easy. Throwers: Practice shot put and discus technique. Long Jump: Practice runway technique.
Wednesday 2/4/26 2:50pm: Meet at Monroe small gym, I will be available to monitor students who are available to workout. Remember these workouts are not mandatory. Sprinters/Jumpers warm up 400m, drills, hurdle squat jumps, 200m relay. Distance runners warm up, stretch, drills: 2 mile on the track with easy straight away running, run curves at tempo pace. Throwers: Ring shot put and discus practice throws. Long Jump: Practice runway technique.
Coaches Meeting: On Wednesday 2/4/26, I will be attending a coaches meeting to finalize our track meet schedule. I will email information out later this day.
School Pay: Once you have registered your child for track, you can pay the track fee here.
Fee: $100 Standard $20 Reduced fee for Track & Field Participation. Families who qualify for the reduced rate and/or scholarship may select the appropriate option directly.
Final Forms: Families, please make sure you have all final form documents signed, physical uploaded and submitted prior to our first practice. This will greatly help student eligibility.
Papa Pizza Fundraiser: Flyers will be handed out February 9th. Please help us fund raise for new track singlets!
