Good morning, I would like to introduce myself. I am James Longoria the head XC and Track Coach here at Monroe Middle School. I hope you all had a wonderful summer and the first day of school is going well for your child. This is a reminder for Monroe Cross Country sign up. Cross Country official practice start date is September 15th, and the fee is $50. The fee can be paid at the front office. Coach Harder and I would love for your child to come be part of the team. No experience required. We ease students into distance running and competition. So if your child is interested, we would love to have them come Run Like a Mustang!

Final Form Sign Up: Final Forms sign up will be open until October 10th. This will allow students time to get in their physical. If you have any questions regarding sign up help for final forms, please email me. I will help you the best I can. The main document to have is the physical. You can scan and upload the updated physical into Final Forms, then turn in a hard copy to the main office, to keep on record for synergy and your child's school file.

Practices: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 3:50-4:45 PM and Early Release Wednesday from 2:50-3:45 PM.

Cross Country Meet Schedule: Middle School races are 3000m / 1.86 miles. 200m short of 2 miles.
