Drink green tea

It’ll make your metabolism go crazy!

Everyday, every meal, every morning

Drink green tea

Watch the pounds disappear!

But don’t talk about the voices replacing them

Drink green tea

It’s the newest fad diet!

Almost as new as the hair falling out

Drink green tea

It’s super healthy!

But is the obsession with numbers healthy too?

Bruises splashed across her knees

Her head tilted up towards the trees

She heard the birds singing lightly

And held onto her sketch book tightly

Dappled sunlight hit her eyes

The crunch of leaves made her look up in surprise

A fox approached her

And let the girl touch his amber fur

The girl's laugh filled the space

Unknowing the creature could wreck her face

The fox didn’t mind

He knew this girl was unlike other mankind

Men were cruel

They cut down his home with their unstoppable tool

But this girl radiated light

And the fox knew she was alright

Street lights flickering

Rain splattering on the roads

One person alone
