Coping

Tail bouncing off of concrete

Floating like a leaf in the wind

My board’s a blur beneath my feet

Its wild motion quickly pinned

Seamless motion smooth as butter

Concrete waves form rolling hills

Clearing my mind of all this clutter

The emptiness I feel it fills

Steel Blue Eyes

Her steel blue eyes

Steal away my woeful sighs

Hearts beat, beating in tandem,

A metronome of love

Intriguing him with intricate intimacy,

Two souls become One. intoxicating love

Leaning over lightly,

To seal it with a kiss

Finn

In my room I sit

Pitter patter at my door

Wonder, what is that?

Standing up I go to see

It’s just my extra thick cat
