Barbara Siemens has been teaching for 7 years, 3 of which have been at Arts and Technology Academy (2020-21 will be her 8th year.) She is currently teaching Language Arts and Social Studies to 7th graders. Being a product of the 4J school system and having gone to the school that once sat where ATA stands, Barbara has an incredible pride to serve the same student population one was once part of. She has always wanted to be a teacher.
Barbara went to the University of Oregon, where she was proud to be in the Oregon Marching Band. She graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor's of Arts in History and a German Studies minor. She went to Pacific University for graduate school, and earned her Master's of Arts in Teaching in 2012.
