Welcome to the
Camas Ridge School Counseling Program!
I consider myself the most fortunate staff member at Camas Ridge Community School. I get to work with and get to know all of our students, their families, and our teachers throughout their entire elementary school career and watch our students wonder, learn, and grow.
At Camas Ridge, we strive to provide a Comprehensive School Counseling Program in accordance with the American School Counselor Association model to support our whole school mission. I am passionate about meeting students and families where they are and providing opportunities, skill-building, connections, and individualized attention to ensure access to educational opportunities and to help our youth develop as a well-rounded individual who can navigate our community and world.
Camas Ridge school mission:
We engage learners with a variety of instructional practices, including student-initiated learning, collaborative small group work, music, art, and active project-based learning.
