What to Prepare for Auditions: Students do not need to prepare anything for the auditions. They will learn and perform a short excerpt from a song from the show. If your child would like to familiarize themselves with the show or music, we recommend searching “Finding Nemo Jr. music” on YouTube.
Callbacks: You will receive an email after the 5th grade auditions on February 5th to let you know whether your child is invited to callbacks. Receiving or not receiving a callback is not an indication of a child’s role or participation in the show.
Rehearsals: Rehearsals will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:45–5:30 PM, with the possibility of additional rehearsals on Mondays and Wednesdays. Students may not be called for every rehearsal. A monthly rehearsal schedule will be sent out so families can plan accordingly.There will be mandatory tech week rehearsals Monday–Thursday during the week of the show, which will run until 6:30 PM.
Show Dates:
May 1st: Performances for the school during the day
May 2nd, 7:00 PM
May 3rd, 4:00 PM
Students must be available for all performances in order to participate.How to Sign Up:
Please sign your student up for auditions by completing the Google Form linked below. The deadline to sign up is January 31st.
