Drama Club

Description: Students will perform in the musical, How to Eat like a Child.

Students must audition to be a part of the Setauket Drama Club.
Auditions will take place on October 17th (5th Grade) and October 19th (6 Grade) from 3:45 PM-5:00 PM. You do not need to prepare anything for the audition. There will be a mandatory parent meeting in the Mini Gym following the auditions.
If needed, callbacks will be on October 20th from 3:45 PM - 5:30 PM. You will be notified if your child needs to attend callbacks.
Families will be notified about audition results by October 21st and the first rehearsal will be October 24th.
Rehearsals will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:45 PM - 5:30 PM. Students may not be needed for every rehearsal. We will send out a monthly schedule to let you know which rehearsals your child will need to attend.
As the we get closer to the show, rehearsals will start to take place at Gelinas JHS. Bussing will be provided for students to get to Gelinas, parents will be expected to pick students up at Gelinas for these rehearsals.
Drama Club performances will be on February 9th and 10th at 7:00 PM at Gelinas JHS. Students will also be having performances during the day for the other students on February 9th and will need to be dropped off at 9:00 at Gelinas. Students in Drama Club must attend all performances to participate.
Rehearsals during Tech Week (the week of the show) will be mandatory and will run later than usual. Please plan on having your child attend rehearsals on February 5, 6, 7, and 8 until 6:30 PM.
