Debunk the Myths
Know the facts!
Myth: Vaping is less harmful than cigarettes.
Truth: Early research suggests vaping is dangerous for your heart and lungs due to aerosol and other chemicals you inhale. Just because something is thought to cause "less" harm does not mean it is harmless. The only thing safe to inhale into our lungs is air!
Myth: Marijuana is not addictive.
Truth: Marijuana can be physically and psychologically addicting.
Myth: I can't withdraw from marijuana.
Truth: Withdrawal among marijuana users may include symptoms of irritability, sleeplessness, lack of appetite, anxiety.
Myth: Marijuana is natural.
Truth: Synthetic cannabinoids are man made, mind altering chemicals that can be smoked or vaporized. This type of THC is used in vapes and is very potent and hazardous.
