ACADEMIC INTERESTS
CREATIVE WRITING
This class is intended for those who enjoy writing. Literary devices are incorporated along with the writing process to create your own book of stories. The writer is encouraged to look further into their characters and dig deeper into their development with their ideas and word choice using the senses. Students will be exposed to different authors and their style of writing.

LEGO SCIENCE LAB
Take your brick building skills to the next level and learn about STEM with Legos! During this class, you will team up with your friends and build a marble run, volcano, catapult, dam, zipline, and balloon powered cars ALL MADE OUT OF LEGOS! Explore Lego building like you've never seen before!

SCIENCE FUNdamentals: KID THEORY
Kid Tested: Science Approved! Join us in a "Game Theory" inspired program as we test and experiment with the world's most viral myths and urban legends from pop culture. Each day we will use our critical thinking and design skills to form our own experiments and have fun! Do pop rocks and soda make your stomach explode? How do you get around laser detectors? Is the 5-second rule true? How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop? Will practicing golf in a video game make you better at playing actual golf? Why are chip bags so empty? We experiment and discover the history and science behind these popular myths and more while also developing math, science, art, and engineering skills!

SCIENCE FUNdamentals: LEVEL UP
Ready to take on the challenge? In this program, you are tasked to race against the clock and compete in STEAM-based challenges that combine physical science, engineering, teamwork, creativity and collaboration! We will be building spaghetti towers, air-pressure bottle rockets, duct tape boats, catapults, Rube Goldberg Machines, paper helicopters,, "Egg Olympics", and more. Join us as we take a new twist on some of your favorite classic science experiments like Diet-Coke and Mentos, Elephant's Toothpaste, and magic wind bags. We will engineer and discover the different scientific phenomena that make us wonder while developing our growth mindsets and teamwork skills!

SCIENCE FUNdamentals: WILDERNESS EXPLORERS
"The Wilderness must be explored!" Great for a beginner scientist, this "Disney's Up" inspired program allows children grades K-2 learn about the science of the natural world through various hands-on activities and projects. Join our team of Wilderness Explorers as we develop foundational critical thinking, sequencing, and pattern recognition skills as we learn about the various phenomena that makes our planet our home. We will create our own Sea-variums, raise our own Sea-Monkeys, see caterpillars turn into butterflies, grow bean sprouts, learn about our ocean and more! Our daily experiments and activities will always be linked with practicing math and reading. Come and start your journey in becoming an explorer of our living planet. Join us for a fun time!

TASTY SCIENCE EXPERIMENTS

WRITE AND EXPLORE: CHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE!
Explore your imagination through writing! Each session we will do wacky and creative writing warm ups, play word games, and work on our "choose your own adventure" stories! Join us to create vivid worlds, hilarious characters, and impossible choices to challenge your peers. Please bring your Chromebook to class!

ARTS & CRAFTS
CULTURAL CRAFTS
This class will be all about exploring different crafts from all over the world! The crafts that we know and love originally come from many different cultures so this class will be an investigation of some of those crafts. Projects we will complete in class could include Paper Cranes and Origami Masu Boxes from Japan, Worry Dolls from Guatemala, and Mexican Folk Art Dot Paintings. This will be a multimedia class where students get to work with a wide range of art materials while moving through our various projects.

DISNEY-THEMED ARTS and CRAFTS
Step into the world of Disney as we relive many classic movie moments and create our own Disney-themed crafts! Stroll down Route 66 as we create our own toilet paper cars, join Olaf on a frozen adventure in a snow glob of his own, and laugh out loud on the Monsters, Inc. floor! You've got a friend in our paper plate Forky and our very own slinky dog, restore the heart of Te Fiti with Moana, and end our program with a firework show in Disney World! Snacks and drinks will be provided.

MIXED MEDIA CREATIVITY
Students will create unique crafts and artwork using a variety of materials such as creating with slate and clay, painting with plastic bags, straws and brushes, learning how to use paper in a new and innovative way. There will be many opportunities for students to show their own individual style!

PROCESS ART

SWEET TOOTH
Do you enjoy making and eating desserts and treats? Do you ever wonder what it would be like to be a pastry chef? If you answered yes to these questions, then you will enjoy this class! Each day students will have the hands-on experience of making their own recipe to bring home and share with their family. Recipes will vary from simple to multi-step desserts such as Lemon Oreo Trifle to more creative food art such as pretzel log cabins and bird's nest cookies. In addition, students will be taught creative techniques to present their final masterpiece.

THE PETITE CHEF
Students will embark on a journey in which they will have fun creating simple meals! Each day we spend together, we will prepare a different recipe. Some foods we will make are French toast, waffles with compote, strawberry shortcake, mini pizzas, monkey bread, cookies, smoothies, and donuts. The goal is to build on the skills learned the previous day while introducing a variety of tools and equipment.

GLOBAL LANGUAGE
A TRIP AROUND THE WORLD
Join us on a virtual trip around the world to discover culture, language and food of other countries. Students will receive a "passport" and "boarding pass" for each country we visit! Experience special celebrations such as Dia de Muertos (Mexico), Poisson d'Avril! (France), Befana and Carnevale (Italy). Learn to speak a little of the language, discover the cuisine of these countries and make some crafts!

SPECIAL INTEREST
BE THE VETERINARIAN
Students will study dog and cat emergency or illness cases, such as bad breath, thirsty, bugs, toxic, etc., identify clues and symptoms to diagnose, and propose treatment protocols. Results will be compared to actual vet responses from a story that we will read together!

INTRODUCTION TO GRAPHIC DESIGN
This class will serve as an introduction to Graphic Design for students ranging from 4th-7th grade. Students will learn about Typography Product Design and other elements of Graphic Design through various different projects. These projects could include coming up with fonts that represent students personalities and interests, recreating a poster from their favorite movie, coming up with an original idea for a snack and its packaging and lastly, creating designs for merchandise that could be sold at a concert for their favorite musical artist!

SOCCER SHOTS
Soccer Shots coaches will work on individual soccer development, team-building, fun fitness activities and character development. All players can expect an age-appropriate curriculum, non-competitive attitude and skill building. Curriculum and themes change daily. Skills training vary by age group and are taught by trained and experienced coaches. No shin guards or equipment needed, just sneakers. This class is open to beginners as well as those with experience!
